Heating and hot water restored in Vladimir after drone attack

Vladimir Region Governor Alexander Avdeyev said on the evening of October 11 that heating and hot-water supplies had been restored following a drone attack on infrastructure.

The governor reported no injuries or substantial destruction in residential areas. Vladimir's administration received reports of damaged apartment windows and a car. Emergency services continued work to address the aftermath.

Damage to power networks caused by debris left some customers without electricity. The governor's evening statement, also reported by Delovoy Peterburg, put their number at around 1,600 across Vladimir and the Sobinsky district.

Avdeyev promised to restore electricity by the end of October 11. That statement does not confirm fulfilment of the promise, so the outage figure applies to the time it was issued.

The governor also convened the regional emergency headquarters to coordinate further work. The attack took place overnight from Saturday into Sunday and early in the morning. Restoration of heating and hot water marked a further stage in the response.
