Ukraine reports Starshield restrictions and partial restoration of connectivity

Ukrainian officials reported disruptions to military satellite communications on October 14. That evening, Mykhailo Fedorov said Starlink connectivity at speeds up to 160 kilometers per hour was being restored.
Presidential adviser Serhii Beskrestnov said the overnight restriction affected the Starshield military service package when terminals exceeded roughly 160 kilometers per hour. He said Ukraine’s defense forces had received no advance warning.
A Ukrainian Defense Ministry source quoted by RBC-Ukraine described difficulties with drone missions and logistics. Interfax-Ukraine and Ukrinform reported that the ministry was contacting the United States, SpaceX and NATO partners about the disruptions.
Fedorov’s evening statement described restoration below the reported threshold. He also called for the Starshield speed restriction to be removed entirely. His statement did not announce that all restrictions had been lifted.
