Eleven Indians injured in Riyadh airport attack

Eleven Indian nationals were injured in the attack on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport. India's embassy is in contact with Saudi authorities and hospitals, Hindustan Times and Moneycontrol reported, citing official information.
India's Ministry of External Affairs on October 11 condemned repeated attacks on the airport over recent days, including the October 10 strike. It expressed condolences to the families of those killed and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
The ministry called for an immediate end to attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure. India also expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia in defending its sovereignty and hoped peace and normality would return to the region.
The latest strike killed 12 people and injured more than 300. Airport operations were temporarily suspended. Passengers were advised to confirm their flight status with airlines before travelling to the airport.
