Kyiv police detain man after recruitment office shooting wounds six

Kyiv police reported detaining a man after a shooting at the Pechersk district military recruitment office. Three police officers and three service members were wounded.

According to preliminary police information, the man opened fire after being brought to the territorial recruitment center for an alleged violation of mobilization legislation.

UNIAN had earlier reported preliminary information that four police officers were wounded. Police subsequently clarified the breakdown of those injured.

All the wounded were hospitalized and are receiving medical treatment. Police investigative teams are establishing the circumstances of the shooting.
