Rostov governor reports around 50 drones destroyed or suppressed overnight
Around 50 drones were destroyed or suppressed in Russia's Rostov region overnight on October 11, Governor Yuri Slyusar said. He reported that no information about injuries had been received.
Dry grass caught fire in the hamlet of Kozyryok in Bokovsky district following the aerial attack. The blaze was extinguished, Slyusar said in a post on the Max platform.
The attack was repelled over Kamensk-Shakhtinsky and Novoshakhtinsk and nine districts: Kamensky, Kasharsky, Morozovsky, Millerovsky, Verkhnedonskoy, Bokovsky, Tarasovsky, Chertkovsky and Sholokhovsky.
The governor's approximate count combines drones that were destroyed and those that were suppressed. His statement did not provide separate totals for those categories or a breakdown by city or district. The information on injuries reflected reports received at the time of his statement.
