Yandex said a drone attack damaged infrastructure in Kaluga. In an official statement, the company said some equipment was out of service and no employees were injured. Emergency services and company specialists were working at the location.

The incident followed damage to another data centre in Sasovo. The previous day, Yandex shares lost more than 3% following reports of an attack in the Ryazan region.

The company continued assessing its infrastructure. Its October 9 statement said it was difficult to determine when the equipment would resume operating.
