Zelenskyy says US intelligence sharing with Ukraine has resumed

The United States has resumed sharing intelligence with Ukraine after an interruption, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told NBC's Meet the Press. He said the exchange was working again.

Zelenskyy had previously said Kyiv was not receiving partners' warnings about Russian missile launches. Donald Trump denied that Washington had stopped sharing intelligence with Ukraine.

The Washington Post reported that US intelligence had warned the exchange could stop if Ukraine continued striking Russian energy facilities. Axios also reported similar warnings from Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

CBS News sources said the US might have deliberately withheld strike warnings. According to the network, American officials attributed the missing information to a missile-detection failure caused by bad weather, an explanation the Ukrainian side questioned.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot said two-thirds of the intelligence provided to Kyiv came from European countries, primarily France.

A separate dispute concerned satellite communications. Elon Musk said Starlink could not be used for offensive operations and that restrictions on the military Starshield network were determined by the US government, which owns it. The Telegraph reported that Musk had proposed restricting Starlink in Ukraine to Trump. Trump denied that he or Musk had imposed such restrictions.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said no one had ordered Starlink to be slowed. He also said Ukraine lacked access to Starshield and that the issue was under discussion.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov urged caution about drawing conclusions on changes to US support for Ukraine, pointing to conflicting statements about whether aid was continuing.
