Yandex Market waives late fees for October 11 orders after data centre outage

Yandex Market has excluded October 11 orders from its quality index across all operating models and waived late fees after its Vladimir data centre stopped operating.

The company announced the measures amid disruptions to its services. According to RBC, sorting centres were temporarily unavailable, while order collection points and warehouses continued operating normally.

Users may also encounter problems loading their accounts or individual account sections. The waiver and quality-index exclusion apply to orders for October 11 and do not amount to a permanent change in the platform's rules.

Yandex previously said a drone attack had damaged infrastructure at its Vladimir data centre and brought operations at the facility to a complete halt. The company reported no injuries and said specialist services were addressing the damage.

Other Yandex services were also affected by disruptions. Yandex Pay announced a temporary pause in operations and assured users that their money was safe.
